The group exhibition at Moosey’s Hoxton gallery showcases 25 international emerging artists, curated by Lisa Boudet. The work is found within a massive installation of parachutes, symbolising a safe landing – a space for artistic expression and experimentation.
Taking off.
For anybody who ever felt hesitant to experiment or to be themselves, ‘MORE THAN NOW’ welcomes you. 25 artists will explore the concept of psychological safety through diverse perspectives and mediums, taking off the shackles of judgement and letting their creativity take flight. As ever, Moosey Gallery prides itself on platforming ‘proper emerging’ artists. By working closely with curator Lisa Boudet, a long-time champion of new creative talent, ‘MORE THAN NOW’ encourages these 25 artists to go beyond their boundaries and embrace the risks and challenges that entails.
Safe landing.
Moosey’s expansive Hoxton gallery will see parachutes fill the space. A recent safe arrival after a challenging campaign for creativity. Much like theatre curtains, they remind us of the two identities we carry at all times: one for the audience, and one behind-the-scenes.
Sheltered beneath the canopy of parachutes, attendees at Moosey Hoxton are invited to pass through this curtain and experience the bold and diverse work of these 25 emerging artists in an environment free from judgement or industry censorship. Within a space of ‘psychological safety’, these two faces may become one.
