Gallery No.32’s 2023 WINTER SCULPTURE PARK is a group exhibition of public sculpture presenting work from over 40 artists and collectives. Swapping white walls and closed doors for blue skies and open terrains, this exhibition is offering both artist and audience a unique chance to explore art and culture amongst London’s natural landscape. Here, art is offered to all, with a hint of discovery.

WINTER SCULPTURE PARK 2023 - CATRIONA-Robinson
Catriona Robinson: SNOW

Set across 4 acres of disused farmland in Bexley, South East London, WINTER SCULPTURE PARK disrupts the expected discoveries of urbanised grassland. The show features a tempting alternative to what you may usually find in London’s greenspace, presenting participatory, absurdist sculptures to entice interaction and play. The typical rural skyline of church spires and telephone pylons is abruptly interrupted. Monuments of the establishment are replaced by anti-monumental structures as artists occupy the disused space, introducing community and public purpose to private land, advocating the alternatives to capital-led development.

Exhibiting innovative and ambitious artworks directly in the public realm, Gallery No.32 and the annual WINTER SCULPTURE PARK bring art to unexpected places, expanding the reach of culture through discovery & exploration.

Since 2020, Gallery No.32 has presented artwork outdoors, striving towards accessible opportunity and inclusive access to creativity. They believe free public art offers this for both artist and audience, stimulating chance discovery and creative exploration, weaving paths of desire through established routines.
