Slade School of Fine Art Degree Shows 2022
The Slade School of Fine Art’s BA/BFA and MA/MFA Degree shows, celebrating the creative practice of our students, will take place in the main Slade building in May and June 2022.
• The BA/BFA show takes place from 20–26 May, with a Private View, 6:30pm – 9pm on 19 May. This show features work from 38 final-year undergraduate artists.
• The MA/MFA show takes place from 17–25 June, with a Private View from 6pm – 9pm on 16 June.
This show features work from 71 final-year graduate artists. We are pleased to be able to stage separate physical undergraduate and graduate shows for the first time since 2019.
Professor Kieren Reed, Slade Director said: “The Slade is delighted to showcase our students’ work in the Slade building, in this our 150th year. We are incredibly proud of our students’ hard work and creativity over the last few years.
Due to the pandemic restrictions, these cohorts have made their artworks under the most challenging circumstances. We are immensely proud of their resilience, curiosity and innovation in their approach to artmaking. We believe that their work represents some of the best new artistic talent and wish all our graduating students all the very best in their future endeavours.”
