Applications are now open for London’s largest free sculpture park, the Winter Sculpture Park, delivered by curatorial duo, Gallery No.32, composed of artists Meg Stuart and Kieran Idle.
Now in its third year, WSP and the Gallery No.32 team are expanding the exhibition space and encouraging applications featuring large scale sculpture, site-specific art installation and creative intervention.
WSP is designed to work horizontally, providing opportunity and access to artists and creatives at all career stages. It offers a space to expand creative networks through creative exchange, generate artistic engagement and response, and provide free, accessible art to all. By placing works directly in the public realm, WSP gets art in front of people and people in front of art, bringing cultural intervention to London’s unassuming rural areas.
Application Criteria:
- Large outdoor sculpture, site-specific art installation and art intervention.
- Freestanding sculpture.
- Sculpture that can withstand vicissitudes of weather, chance and human behaviour in the public realm, lasting for the 2 month show period. (Gallery No.32 are offering free Q&A sessions to support this stage of the application, dates below).
- Gallery No.32 encourages applications from artists at any stage of their career or practice to apply. Projects undertaken at Gallery No.32 promote and herald inclusivity and accessibility for all.
