From Limited-Edition Garments to Blankets, Endless Joy Extends Its Mythology-Driven Design Ethos Into the Home
Endless Joy, the Bali-based art project founded by Stevie and Alexandra Anderson, has expanded from clothing into home textiles. Long recognised for weaving mythology, nature and folklore into fashion, the brand now turns that vision towards a new series of blankets — functional pieces that double as works of art.

Produced in limited editions of fewer than 100, each blanket is created in collaboration with Balinese artisans who preserve centuries-old techniques. The designs draw on Greek myths, Javanese folklore and medieval demonology, using natural dyes sourced from mango leaves, sappan bark and indigofera before being translated into ultra-soft, eco-friendly fabrics. The result is a collection that situates daily objects within a wider narrative of myth and cultural memory.

This focus on storytelling through craft echoes Endless Joy’s past collaborations, including a recent project with Balinese fine art photographer Gung Ama. Centred on Taksu — the Balinese concept of spiritual charisma and creative soul — the series combined Ama’s black-and-white analogue portraits with Endless Joy’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection. Shot at Temu Space in Ubud, the work honoured five Balinese cultural figures while reflecting on themes of identity, spiritual erosion and the tensions between tradition and modernity.

With the blanket collection, Endless Joy extends this ongoing dialogue between art, craft and design. Positioned as a sustainable alternative to mass luxury, the pieces invite both tactile intimacy and cultural resonance, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to living traditions while expanding into new realms of the home.
