CIRCULATION(S) 2025 European Young Photography Festival
5th April, 2025 to 1st June, 2025
CENTQUATRE-Paris
5 rue Curial
75019 Paris
For over a decade, the Circulation(s) Festival has offered a compelling window into the evolving landscape of European photography, highlighting the voices of emerging talents and reflecting contemporary issues through their lenses. Now entering its 15th edition, the festival—curated and directed by the Fetart collective—announces its latest cohort of artists, promising a dynamic and thought-provoking programme at CENTQUATRE-PARIS from 5 April to 1 June 2025.
This year’s selection comprises 24 photographers from 14 European countries, each bringing their own perspective to the complexities, contradictions, and nuances of modern society. A special emphasis will be placed on Lithuania, as the festival dedicates a focus to the Baltic nation, showcasing the work of four Lithuanian artists whose series explore themes deeply rooted in their cultural and social landscapes.

Beyond its exhibitions, Circulation(s) has long been more than a showcase—it is a platform for exchange, mentorship, and dialogue. Attendees can engage with photography through a robust schedule of interactive programming, including workshops, portfolio reviews, masterclasses, live performances, film screenings, and even a dedicated exhibition designed for young audiences. With its hands-on approach, the festival fosters an environment where professionals, enthusiasts, and the simply curious can come together to explore the medium’s possibilities.
The festival also continues its commitment to professional development. Over two intensive weekends, the Fetart collective will host a workshop programme designed to guide photographers in refining their projects, expanding their networks, and honing their ability to present work in a compelling and cohesive manner. Led by Laetitia Guillemin, curator and professor at Gobelins, and Marie Guillemin, curator and artistic advisor, these workshops will provide emerging and mid-career photographers with critical tools to articulate their vision and navigate the industry.

ARTISTIC DIRECTION · FETART COLLECTIVE
A Singular Collective with Audacious Projects
Fetart is the creator and organiser of the Circulation(s) Festival. Its artistic direction is led by six independent curators, all specialists in emerging photography. Their diverse sensibilities and strong artistic perspectives come together in a shared commitment to plurality of expression.
This openness to different viewpoints defines the festival’s identity and lies at the heart of its approach. The artistic direction of the Fetart collective consists of: Clara Chalou, Carine Dolek, Laetitia Guillemin, Marie Guillemin, Emmanuelle Halkin, and Claire Pathé.
For the 5th year running, the Fetart collective is teaming up with Jimme Cloo and Charlotte de Rafélis, from studio Bigtime, for the overall layout of the exhibitions. They will give shape and colour to the 2,000m² of exhibition space, which will host the diversity of views presented.
