Inviting personal photographs and stories that reflect the diverse experiences of diaspora communities worldwide.

Taking its cue from A Thousand Small Stories — the title of Eileen Perrier’s current exhibition at Autograph — this open call invites members of the public to contribute to an evolving collection of personal narratives. Participants are invited to submit photographs accompanied by a short text reflecting on the diasporic experience. The written piece may take the form of an anecdote, memory, poem, or a personal reflection on hopes for the future.

Photographs may be newly captured or drawn from personal archives, whether a recent image, a selfie, or a family photograph. No professional experience or equipment is required to take part.

The call is open to individuals of all ages, from anywhere in the world. Each participant may submit up to three photographs, with accompanying captions provided in English.

A selection of submissions will be chosen by a panel of judges to be featured in a new online gallery on Autograph’s website. Selected works may also be shared on Autograph’s social media channels and with the press.
