‘An Ode To Notting Hill Carnival’ Exhibition At White City House

In the wake of the second year of cancellation for the annual Notting Hill Carnival, White City House Studios is holding a commemorative photography exhibition showcasing archived images of carnival celebrations from the past.
Curated and organised by Rio Blake, the exhibit will be displaying photographic work from handpicked, up and coming London based talent. In company with them, some big names in the photography world; with works donated from the likes of honorary Magnum photographer Martin Parr Alongside Matt Stuart, author of the critically acclaimed photo book: ‘All that life can Afford’.
All of the works from the exhibition have been kindly donated by the participating photographers and will be available for purchase. All print sale proceeds raised from the exhibit are being donated to the Grenfell Foundation.
The exhibition aims to recreate the times we would have had. With the opening event seeing the ground floor of White City House transform, with visual display being paired with sounds of the carnival via live DJ sets throughout the day.
