Devon DeJardin, the celebrated LA based artist known for his evocative and thought-provoking work, proudly announces his upcoming collaboration with AllRightsReserved. These monumental sculptures are a testament to DeJardin’s artistic vision and his dedication to exploring themes of protection, guidance, and growth. The sculptures are crafted from painted bronze and feature dimensions of H280 x W215 x D180mm, and are limited to an edition of 20.
This collaboration reflects DeJardin’s work for the past five years, which focuses on ‘Guardians’ – entities and forces that protect us, guide us, and challenge us to grow. Through the ’Guardian Alastor’ sculptures, DeJardin encapsulates these profound concepts into a tangible form, inviting viewers to contemplate the presence of guardianship in their lives.
“What’s exciting about this project is that sculptures provide permanence, by existing as tangible, three dimensional objects that endure over time,” DeJardin states. “The idea of having a “Guardian” figure placed in locations all across the globe, during a time of ongoing world turbulence, I hope provides some type of comfort and protection to its host.”
