This autumn, one of the world’s largest art events is being arranged in Stockholm with unique works of art at affordable prices. Skilled art collectors and curious first-time buyers alike can find art that fits both the wallet and the home.

Affordable Art Fair takes place at Nacka Strandmässan in Stockholm 2nd-6th October. This is the twelfth time the Affordable Art Fair is being held in Stockholm and 25 years since the concept was founded in London, something that will be recognized with anniversary celebrations worldwide. Stockholm is the art event’s only destination in Scandinavia, and among the other 11 cities there are, for example; New York, Hong Kong, Berlin, Singapore, and Sydney. During 2024 the concept will also open in Austin, Texas, and Brisbane.

Price ceiling of 90,000 SEK
The fair features artwork from both local and international artists and galleries. All works have prices between 900-90,000 SEK. Visitors can buy the art directly from the fair and all gallerists and artists are open to informing and talking about the artworks on site. In total, over 500 artists and 60 galleries in Stockholm will participate in the fair.

Affordable Art Fair wants to lower the thresholds, democratise and make the art world more accessible. Only living artists are represented at the Affordable Art Fair, and new rising stars are interspersed with established talents. – This year’s edition of Affordable Art Fair Stockholm will be something out of the ordinary. An art event where everyone from families with children to pensioners and everyone in between can enjoy art and activities adapted to appeal to all senses, says Carl Wilhelm Hirsch, Fair Director Stockholm.

Restaurateur Pontus Frithiof has taken over the restaurant at Nacka Strandmässan this year and is raising the gastronomic experience at the Affordable Art Fair to new heights.

Home is where the art is
This year’s fair has the theme Home is where the art is and focuses on how art can create a home, as well as how our art can reflect our feelings, expressions, and style. Affordable Art Fair showcases artworks that suit both the wallet and the home whether you prefer neutral minimalist or more colourful. At the fair there is art in many different forms; visual arts, sculpture, painting, photography, glass art, crafts, etc. as well as several who find themselves at the intersection between the various art forms.
