Spanning Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America, the showcase reflects a broad cross-section of rising talent and global perspectives in contemporary art.

The 2025 edition features a strong line-up of solo presentations from galleries including Jonathan Carver Moore (San Francisco), LATITUDE Gallery New York (New York), Night Café (London), Gallery Common (Tokyo), Nil Gallery (Paris), Milk Moon (Telluride), and homework (Miami). In addition, duo presentations will be featured from Sorondo (Barcelona), ROY Gallery (Seoul), THK Gallery (Cape Town), Hyacinth Gallery (New York), and QB Gallery (Oslo).

Foundations: Art Under £2,500’ Section:
Merenini Williams, Untitled, 2022

Two newly curated sections debut this year: Foundations: Art Under £800 and Foundations: Art Under £2,000, both aimed at attracting early-stage collectors. These segments include a range of mediums—paintings, ceramics, textiles, sculpture—and highlight affordability alongside curatorial strength.

Among the featured works in the under-£800 category are La niña santa (2025), a figurative painting by Chilean artist Mara Faúndez, priced at £500; Kitchen Vesper (2025) by Melody Tuttle (£390); and Parade 95 (2023) by Jinsik Yoo (£700). The selection spans floral motifs, portraiture, abstract canvases, and functional ceramics.

Works in the under-£2,000 category include Untitled (2022) by Merenini Williams, a nighttime figurative scene; Burn a Bridge to Light the Way (2025), a surreal composition by Zoë Renait; and Morning Blues (2025) by Justin Yoon, whose figurative style centres on quiet, introspective domestic scenes. Other highlights include Tears, Blood, Sweat (Apple) (2024), a silver aluminium sculpture by Jocelyn Reid, and Tabernaculum (2025), a bold architectural painting on linen by Tiantian Lou.

Several duo presentations also stand out. LaiSun Keane (Boston) is presenting works by Meghan Murray and Raina Lee, whose ceramic glaze painting Staircase at Crypt Gaudí, Colònia Güell (2025) merges architecture and abstraction. Hostler Burrows x HB381 (New York) is showing sculptural work by Rasmus Nossbring and Graham Marks, including Candelabra (2024), a hybrid of wheel-thrown and hand-built stoneware. Other collaborations include Jan Kuhlemeier and Steffen Kern’s mixed-media works on memory, and figurative drawings by Moon Mean and Lucas Kaiser.

Solo presentations include Ilaria Vinci, shown by Alice Amati (London), whose watercolour drawings transform botanical subjects into introspective landscapes. Beers London is exhibiting new layered paintings by Beto Fame, while Spinello Projects (Miami) showcases Jared McGriff’s expressive watercolours. In Detroit, PLAYGROUND DETROIT is presenting Shaina Kasztelan’s pop culture–inspired assemblages, and Neon Parc (Melbourne) features Georgia Morgan’s textural ceramic works.

Now in its fourth year, Foundations continues to serve as an accessible platform for discovering new artists while reflecting the shifting dynamics of the contemporary art market—particularly as it expands into digital and global territory.
