Javier Calleja recently joined hands with Hypebeans, a communal destination serving
quality coffee, on a playful exclusive collection. The collection features the artist’s
iconic illustration of a boy with oversized and watery eyes, this time, with a coffee cup
on his head. The artwork is available on a range of merchandises, which includes
artist’s first ever official poster, T-shirt, and keychain.
I always like my work to arrive to new people, to a wider audience, and this is why I enjoy doing these collaborations. They allow for me and my work to become a little part of their life, and I enjoy that idea

In celebration of this creative communal collaboration, two shop-in-shops are launched in the Hong Kong, Seoul and New York Hypebeans cafés respectively. The collection is available from June 9th to July 6th at all Hypebeans locations in Hong Kong, Seoul and New York, as well as online at HBX.com.
Bridging culture through collaborations, the Hypebeans X Javier Calleja collection
takes inspiration from the “kick” that coffee generates to start everyone’s morning. For
the collaboration, Javier playfully depicted his signature character of the big-eyed boy
taking an espresso shower to run into his day.
To resonate this refreshing energy with the Hypebeans community, the artwork will be featured on a high quality, official poster to warm up the home, a keychain to open the doors to a new journey, and a T-shirt for everyday styling.
The Hypebeans café at Landmark Hong Kong and Centerfield Seoul have been
redesigned with the imaginative elements brought by Javier’s character, offering a
joyful and artistic experience for coffee lovers.
