As well as original artworks, the artist will release a limited edition print with Rhodes Editions alongside the show, which will be Ormandy’s first print release outside of Australia.‘Intransitive’ expands upon Ormandy’s current bold and vibrant style, further exploring the effects of vibration and rhythm through colour and form. You can expect large-scale oil paintings and miniatures, inspired by Ormandy’s seductive curvilinear forms.

Influenced by the natural world with a strong design aesthetic, Ormandy creates visually stunning abstract works, contrasting bold colours with geometric shapes, creating interesting chromatic relationships.

As well as co-founding the global jewellery brand Dinosaur Designs, Ormandy has managed to successfully forge a career which spans across the world of design and fine art. With shows across multiple cities in Australia, as well as in New York, Japan and Singapore, Ormandy has received global recognition, with works in the collections of the National Gallery of Victoria and The Sir William Dobell Art Foundation.
